Col. R.L. Upchurch served thirty-one years as a jet fighter/attack pilot in the US Marine Corps. He now resides on Point Clear, Alabama with his wife, Providence, and is a Volunteer Tour Guide at the National Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola, Florida. Col. Upchurch has written three other novels, With Flying Colors, Taming the Taildragger, and Graveyard Spiral.

Some Golfers play strictly by the rules. Some fudge a little now and then. And then there are the Mulligans. In their game the rules are bent, twisted, and when necessary ignored. Ruins the game you say? Hardly. The Mulligans have been playing golf for so long, many can't remember the day they drove their first ball. Rain or shine, cold or hot, wick or well, they show up every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and sometimes the days in between. Golf is a game and games are fun; therefore, come hellish bunkers or high water hazzards, golf will be enjoyable - so say the Mulligans.
